Fran Walton studied Zoology at London University, specializing in mammalian anatomy and physiology.
She has worked in several different areas including a small Arabian horse stud farm, saddlery and horse supplies, pet shops (owning her own shops for several years), pharmaceuticals, administration and accountancy.
Her other interests have included diverse sports such as riding, squash, tennis & running, as well as ballet and theatrical dance. In 1993 she began competing in dog agility with her 2 collies, and has competed successfully with 5 more canine companions since then.
Fran’s interest in the Bowen Technique began after her ‘superstar’ collie, Tandi, was helped to a rapid recovery after a back injury early in 2012 which had left her with an annoyingly persistent groin strain.
Fran trained with both the European College of Bowen Studies (ECBS) and the European Guild of Canine Bowen Therapists (EGCBT).
She now brings together elements from all areas of her work and interests as background to her Bowen work.
